About
Hi. I am Paul, and I am a Perth based photographer.
I was born in the United Kingdom and was very lucky to travel around the world as an “Army brat”. My dad was a soldier in the British army.
This gave me an insatiable apatite for learning and sense of wonder for the world around me.
At around the age of 8 I was mentored by a family friend, who lent me a camera, and a roll of film. He showed me how to work the camera, and eventually develop and print the film. I was hooked.
Over the many (many) years since, I have had numerous jobs, including a stint as a freelance press photographer, but my first love has always been photography.
In 2007 I was fortunate to move to Western Australia, and I have been using my camera, and my slightly quirky vision, to document Western Australia and in particular, the resources industry.
I hope you enjoy my website.
